About Amanda

From growing up on a small farm, to the raising of my family, to the establishment of my own business in the city, I have been through the excitement and challenges of many transitions myself.

Education & Formal Training

I have been Certified through the Coach Training Alliance, and am an active member of the International Coaching Federation.  I have been coaching women and their families through a wide range of life transitions since 2013.

Before my training as a coach, I received a BFA in Graphic Design from Utah State University. I worked for nine years as a Small Business Marketing Consultant and Freelance Designer.  My clients included NordicTrac, Hotel Temple Square Corporation, and the Center for Management and Organization Effectiveness.  I also worked for three years with the Publicis Groupe, serving such clients as American Express, First Security Bank, and United HealthCare.

Marriage & Family

I have been happily married for the past 20 years to a supportive husband. We have 4 wonderful children who range in age from 7 to 15 years old.  We have been fortunate to adopt through the California Social Service Foster Care program.  Due to educational and employment opportunities our family has been relocated several times.  We’ve lived exciting and productive lives in Utah, Oregon, California, and now Colorado.

The experience of being a mother has profoundly impacted my life’s work.  I want to support women in all that they do.  I want to help families thrive. There are too many voices “out there” leading women to second-guess their own judgment and priorities.  I don’t want to be another voice telling you what you should and shouldn’t do.  I want to help you learn to trust your own internal voice and let it guide you.
